Privacy Policy

The RunUs app collects the following in order to provide the service.

• Account: the account identifier from your login method (Kakao or Apple) and your email address (including email login)
• Profile: name, student ID number, department, gender, date of birth, phone number, profile photo
• Student verification: a photo of your student ID card, used to confirm you are a member of Yonsei University
• Location: your location at the moment you check in to a scheduled run, used only to measure the distance to the meeting point
• Activity: run, personal best and flash run proof photos and records, crew feed posts, comments and likes, attendance and fine history
• Device: push notification token, if you have enabled notifications

• To register and identify members and manage the crew roster
• To confirm that you are a student of Yonsei University
• To record attendance, calculate attendance totals and fines, and provide personal best rankings
• To let operators run the crew (approving members, managing attendance, settling fines): approved operators view member information such as name, department and student ID number in the admin web, only to the extent needed for those tasks.
• To send notifications about notices, schedules and attendance
• To prevent misuse and to operate and improve the service

• When you leave the crew or the purpose of collection is fulfilled, we destroy the information without delay.
• Student ID photos are destroyed as soon as verification is decided (approved or rejected).
• However, season participation history (name, season and similar) may be retained after you leave, as a record of club operation and accounting.
• Where the law requires retention, we keep the information for that period.

We use the following providers to operate the service.

• Supabase — database, authentication and photo storage (cloud infrastructure)
• Expo — push notification delivery
• Kakao — social login
• Apple — Sign in with Apple
• Vercel — admin web hosting

These providers process personal information only within the scope of the work entrusted to them. We do not sell or otherwise provide your personal information to third parties.

• You may request access, correction, deletion or suspension of processing of your personal information at any time.
• You can request deletion of your account and personal information from [My Page > Delete account] in the app.
• To correct your name, department, student ID number or other profile details, ask an operator and it will be fixed.
• For anything else, contact us at the address below.

• Student ID photos are deleted from storage as soon as they are reviewed.
• Sensitive fields such as phone number and date of birth are restricted so that only you and approved operators can read them.
• Data access is enforced by row level security, allowing only you or an authorised operator.
• When an account is deleted, the linked profile, posts and records are deleted with it.
• All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).
